What began as a simple passion for working out has taken Mohammed Alwaleed Ali Abdullah, a Cyber Security student from Asia Pacific University of Technology & Innovation (APU), all the way to the international bodybuilding spotlight.

At just 20 years old, simply known as Alwaleed claimed an impressive second and fifth place finish in the First Time & Junior categories at the World Natural Bodybuilding Federation (WNBF) Malaysia International Pro Qualifier 2025

Starting his fitness journey in 2023, Alwaleed never imagined that within two years he would be competing on such a prestigious global stage, and as the youngest bodybuilder in the competition no less.

His transformation has been remarkable. Beginning his prep in February 2025 at 118 kilograms, he stepped on stage weighing a lean 97 kilograms, shedding a staggering 21 kilograms in just six months.

From 118kg to 97kg in six months, Mohammed Alwaleed’s incredible transformation for the WNBF Malaysia Pro Qualifier 2025 showcases his dedication and hard work.

“This journey was all about intense commitment,” Alwaleed shared.

“With the guidance of my personal coach and fellow APU student, Ahmed Tamer Khafaga, I followed a strict training and nutrition regime. Every day involved strength and conditioning sessions alongside careful diet management to reach peak competition form.”

Beyond physical transformation, Alwaleed discovered that success in bodybuilding demands far more than muscle — it requires unwavering discipline, consistency, and mental toughness.

“I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of the competition. Standing on stage for the first time, posing, and meeting athletes from around the world was an incredible experience. It challenged me to push beyond my limits and learn from the best,” he said.

Looking ahead, Alwaleed is eager to continue competing and raising the bar for himself.

This debut on the international stage has only strengthened his resolve to achieve even greater success.
