University life isn’t just about numbers, formulas, and deadlines — it’s also about making memories, building friendships, and finding joy in shared experiences.

On 23 August 2025, the APU Actuarial Science Club (ASC) proved just that with their much-anticipated bonding event, “Moo-ve It!: ASC Farm Adventure @ Farm Fresh”, held at Farm Fresh UPM.

Bringing together 30 enthusiastic participants, the day kicked off bright and early as students arrived in high spirits, ready for a refreshing escape from city life. Divided into four teams, each led by two or three committee members, the participants geared up for a fun-filled day of adventure, laughter, and learning.

Farm Life, Firsthand!

The event began with an exciting tractor ride, giving everyone a scenic view of the vast, green farm. The bumpy ride quickly set the tone for the day — cheerful, energetic, and filled with laughter.

Next, the Farm Fresh tour guide took centre stage, leading the group through a guided farm tour packed with fascinating stories about the animals, crops, and sustainable practices that keep the farm thriving. 

From dairy cows to leafy greens, the participants got an insider’s look at how Farm Fresh runs its daily operations — and, of course, a few adorable photo ops along the way! 

By lunchtime, new friendships had already started to blossom, and conversations flowed as easily as the fresh milk served on-site. 

Games, Giggles, and Good Times 

Post-lunch, it was time to put teamwork to the test with two interactive bonding games — “Zoom & Spot” and “Farm Bingo”.

In Zoom & Spot, participants had to identify farm features from close-up photos, combining sharp eyes with quick collaboration. Meanwhile, Farm Bingo turned the entire farm into a lively playground — teams raced to complete quirky challenges, snap creative photos, and solve farm-themed puzzles. The air buzzed with excitement and friendly competition as laughter echoed across the fields.

Two teams emerged victorious, earning prizes for their creativity and team spirit — but truthfully, everyone left feeling like a winner. 

A Day to Remember

The event wrapped up with a cheerful group photo, capturing radiant smiles and a shared sense of accomplishment. 

For the ASC members, “Moo-ve It!” wasn’t just another outing — it was a day of connection, collaboration, and carefree fun. It reminded everyone that university life at APU is as much about friendship and personal growth as it is about academic excellence. 

And as the sun set over the farm, one thing was clear: the bonds forged that day will last far longer than the footprints left on the muddy trails.
